Description/Job Summary

Overview of position: Summary of positions responsibilities
Under the supervision of the of the Catalog Management Specialist, to provide assistance in the cataloging of library materials for all formats, as well as materials preparation, inventory and weeding processes. Responsible for recording collections statistics and working cooperatively with members of the acquisition and technical team.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

Associates Degree, detail oriented and accurate with data entry; ability to lift 50 lbs. and to move loaded book carts.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree; experience in data entry; library experience in cataloging or technical skills with a working knowledge of MS Office.
