About Baltimore City Community College
Founded in 1947, Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) is a comprehensive, urban institution accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Coordinates the contractual employee contact process by entering contract requests into the PEACE system, distributing the contracts to employees, and returning the contracts to the contract processing office in a timely manner.
Obtains authorizing signatures on contractual employee agreements prior to implementation.
Reviews budgets to ensure funding availability.
Assists with daily budget management of contractual payroll.
Provides reports as requested relating to outstanding contracts and contract cut-offs.
Is a front line contact for instructors when they have payroll issues.
Tracks and monitors contractual timesheets that are submitted to managers for approval.
Assists with creating and implementing internal controls to ensure compliance as it relates to contractual pays.
Trains Managers and other staff of the WDCE payroll process as appropriate.
Enters bi-weekly timesheets into the system to track contractual hours.
Informs managers if contractual employees do not have enough hours available on their contract.
Communicates with Payroll staff concerning payroll, timesheets and contract issues.
Other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED
Experience in HPLAN PEACE system.
At least 2 years experience working in higher education.
At least 2 years providing excellent customer services.
Associates Degree in Business or related field
At least 5 years providing excellent customer services.
At least 5 years experience working in higher education.
