Founded in 1947, Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) is a comprehensive, urban institution accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Summary of positions responsibilities:
Provides testing services to all students during the day, evening, and weekend hours.
Administer, proctor, and when required, score all forms of exams including BCCC course exams, placements, distance learning, external, and other vendor-based exams, ensuring provisions of approved reasonable accommodation are warranted.
Must meet and continue to meet certification requirements for vendor-based exams
Process test scores to and from other colleges
Record and file all incoming exams and communicate information to the staff
Inform the faculty about the details/process of receiving and administering exams
Submit monthly reports, answer telephones and email inquiries
Applicants cannot be enrolled undergraduate credit level courses at any institution at any time while in this position.
Applicants must be available to work at least 3 shifts per week, including days, evenings and Saturdays
Minimum Education and Training Requirements:
Associates Degree or a minimum of 60 credits towards a Bachelor’s degree
Excellent written and communication skills
Minimum of two years (2) customer service environment
Proficiency in the use of software applications (MS Office Suite), the internet and office equipment
Knowledge of student information systems
Experience in computer-based testing, testing administration, test security procedures, and confidentiality procedures in higher education or related field.
